Mickey Ball Cake

A cake I made for my friend's birthday. She loves Mickey. This year was special because it was 08/08/08. At first I was sad because I couldn't make red icing for the body, (if you've never tried, trying to get a primary color from a white icing base is near impossible) but the color I ended up with was actually not bad, it worked well with the brown tone (which was made from melted chocolate) of the skin. Overall, cute right?
