Three Quarter Time

My first (and probably only) fondant cake. Ignore the cracks and waves and it's.. acceptable. Haha. This was for my friend's 21st birthday, she actually bought me this fondant because I mentioned to her one day that I've never tried it before. Definitely not as easy as they make it look on tv. I was aiming for a magenta color, but I stopped at this light purple when I realized it wasn't going to get any darker. I made a chocolate ganache to do the writing on the top. And yes, that is ribbon wrapped around the bottom (to cover the imperfections). Her birthday was March 4th, which explains the 3/4.
